It was another action packed spring here in the Lowcountry of Beaufort, SC!! One thing I love about the months of April, May, and June is our unique inshore fishery for Cobia. Really hard to beat the feeling of throwing a fly in front of a cruising Cobia just a few hundred yards away from a Redfish flat! This was my 7th cobia season as a full time guide and one to remember! Of course the red fishing was great with light tackle and fly as well! Lots of action on the low tides and flood tides with return anglers. Below are just a few photos from another great Spring Season! Now we roll into very hot weather the next few months, early mornings, late evenings, and Tarpon!

They closed the Cobia season this year for the month of May which made it strictly catch and release! This closure made a very positive impact which proved from the numbers seen and caught this year.
