It was another awesome winter season here in the Lowcountry of South Carolina! What I love the most about the winter time is when the weather is right, the fishing can be incredible! Huge schools of 100-200 redfish swimming around in gin clear water makes sight fishing one of the best ways to target them during the winter months. Simply cannot beat watching a school of 100 Redfish fight over your fly or artificial in a mere 8 inches of water.
As much as I love the winter fishing the weather can be very tough. Usually end up canceling more days then actually fishing that time of year because of wind. Really excited about the upcoming Spring season and cannot wait have you all back on the boat in 2016! Looking forward to another Cobia season here in Beaufort, SC! Enjoy a few winter season photos below and looking forward to seeing you on the bow soon. Cheers to Spring!
